Embark on an enchanting journey into southern Sri Lanka's village life. Our adventure begins with a serene boat ride, where a naturalist reveals the vibrant wildlife. We dock at a coconut husk workshop, then cycle through the village, immersing in daily rhythms. At a vendor, we handpick vegetables for our cooking session at a wattle and daub hut. Here, we join our host to craft a delectable Sinhalese feast, learning about ingredients and techniques before indulging in a sumptuous lunch

  • The bike ride can be substituted with a tuk tuk ride
  • Local snacks can be organized instead of a complete meal
  • There is an option for the bike ride only
  • This experience is hosted by locals from the community, and they may not be fluent in English
